Visit the Hindu and Muslim quarters, Christian churches, and see the agrahara houses
of Brahmins given sanctuary by Kerala’s enlightened king centuries ago.  
See at first hand the streets, lanes, canals and homes in the surrounding district, and
get an insight into the way of life – how people work, worship, shop, cook, do
laundry, go to school and more. Depending on availability, we will visit spice traders,
see street food made, market produce sold, and more. 
Here you can see different religions living side by side as they have for centuries. You
can also see small family businesses and cooperatives providing opportunities for all
to make a living.
