You start with a ferry ride to the colourful fisherman’s village of Vypin and continue
on narrow, quiet lanes across islands linked by bridges. On the way you see small
villages, abundant birdlife, and beautiful scenery. Like the famous Kerala backwaters
of which it is part, daily life is going on all around you – vendors selling door-to-door,
householders buying, kids returning from school, farmers at work in paddy fields and
fish hatcheries and more.
The tour culminates at sunset with a gorgeous view of the backwaters while you have
refreshments.
