You will see small fishing villages, many brightly painted boats and the famous
Chinese fishing nets. Local men are often found casting for fish, repairing their nets,
while women and families prepare the catch for sale.
You also follow a pilgrim route to both Christian and Hindu destinations – the
Arthungal basilica and the beautiful Kanichukulangara temple, which welcomes non-
Hindus. The green of the palm-fringed rice fields and natural landscape will hold you
spellbound.
